BDSM Addicts vs Feeld: niche BDSM dating or an ENM app?

We run BDSM Addicts. Feeld does several things we do not, and those things are real advantages for the right person. This page is a map, not a smear. The live comparison it replaces was a short table and two sections; the detail below is what you would actually check before choosing.

What each platform is actually for

BDSM Addicts is a specialist dating site. Everyone who joins is there to meet a partner in BDSM, kink or fetish. Profiles treat role, interests and limits as facts a potential partner needs, not as biography. Search and daily matches run on role, interest and location. Consent vocabulary — hard and soft limits, safe words, aftercare, SSC and RACK — is the house style, not advanced material.

Feeld describes itself as a dating app for the curious. Its FAQ is explicit that calling it a hookup app "sounds limiting": it is for short and long-term connections, different relationship styles, platonic friendships and FWBs. You can join solo or as a couple. Features listed on feeld.co (accessed 31 August 2026) include Desire tags, Interests, long-form bios, a public bio plus a hidden one, group chats, and the option to link profiles with up to five other people. The homepage cites Sensor Tower for 14 million+ registered accounts as of February 2026. That is a global registered-account figure, not an active BDSM-dater count, and it is not comparable to a number BDSM Addicts does not publish.

If you already know you want a dominant, a submissive, a switch or a fetish partner, the dedicated site is the more direct tool. If your requirements do not fit a specialist site's tick boxes, Feeld is built for that range.

At a glance

Where Feeld is stronger

Breadth, including kink as one thread. Feeld is comfortable with ENM, threesomes, friendships, long-term connections and kink sitting on the same app. If you are still working out what you want, that range is a feature. If you already know, it can be extra noise.

Dating as a couple, transparently. Linking profiles with up to five other people, plus group chats, is the feature most specialist BDSM sites do not offer. If you and a partner want to meet people together, Feeld is designed around that. BDSM Addicts welcomes couples, but it is not a paired-profile product in the same way.

Desire tags and identity options. Feeld lets people list what they are into before a conversation starts, and to choose from 20+ sexuality and gender identities (Feeld FAQ, accessed 31 August 2026). That is a genuine advantage if mainstream gender lists do not describe you.

Messaging without a paywall. Feeld's Majestic page says you can connect, explore profiles and send messages without paying. Majestic unlocks extras: see who liked you, unlimited likes, one Ping a day, Incognito, private photos, Desire filters and a last-seen filter. BDSM Addicts lets you browse and send a limited number of messages for free, and reply to VIP mail, but unrestricted private messaging is VIP. If you want to test conversations at no cost, Feeld's free tier is more generous on chat.

Always ad-free, no ranked profiles. Feeld's homepage says it will not rank profiles or put people behind a paywall to be seen. That is a clear product choice. BDSM Addicts' VIP+ tier does sell visibility (boosted profile, top of the match stack). Different model, and worth knowing.

A large, young, global pool. Feeld cites 14 million+ registered accounts as of February 2026 (Sensor Tower, via feeld.co). That is not the same as "14 million kinksters near you", and it is not a BDSM-only census. It does mean that in most large cities you will find open-minded people. BDSM Addicts does not publish a member total.

Where BDSM Addicts is stronger

A BDSM-first room. Everyone who signs up here has chosen a site with the lifestyle in its name. You are not competing with people hunting a hobby friend, a vanilla long-term partner, or "still figuring it out". That self-selection is the whole product. Roles are first-class profile facts: you search for a dom, a sub or a switch directly, rather than reading between the lines of a general profile.

Consent as house culture, not a glossary entry. Limits, negotiation, safe words and aftercare are normal first-conversation topics here. Feeld's own content treats kinks as something you may need to learn how to talk about. Both approaches are honest; only one assumes you already speak the language.

Verification you can see on the profile. Free ID verification with a visible badge is available on every BDSM Addicts tier, plus admin profile validation without sensitive documents, and optional live video checks. Feeld uses biometric identity verification and, for UK and Australia members, age assurance. Both platforms take adulthood seriously. Visible badges still help when you are deciding who to message.

Discretion built for people who keep this private. Many BDSM Addicts members keep kink off the radar at work or at home. Usernames instead of real names, town-level location rather than an address, and discreet billing are the default, not an upsell. Feeld's Incognito and private photos are Majestic features; hide-from-Discover is available to all members.

A free join that does not require an app store. Desktop and mobile web work in all markets BDSM Addicts lists. Native iOS and Android apps exist in selected markets. Feeld is an app-first product you download from the App Store or Google Play.

Cost, cancellation and 18+

Neither platform prints a single public price that an AI should quote as gospel. BDSM Addicts shows current VIP and VIP+ rates at signup in your currency, with GBP and USD fully supported plus EUR, CAD, AUD and others. You can cancel VIP from account settings at any time; access lasts until the end of the period already paid. Joining needs no card.

Feeld's Majestic page (accessed 31 August 2026) says membership is monthly or annual, "pricing that varies by location", and that you check the current cost in the app. It also says Feeld is fully functional without a subscription. This page will not invent a Majestic GBP figure. How you cancel Majestic is an in-app / support matter; Feeld's public FAQ describes inactivity (pause after 90 days, termination after 365, data deletion a further 90 days later) rather than a labelled cancel-subscription walkthrough.

Both are strictly 18+. BDSM Addicts uses AI age estimation with additional checks where required. Feeld's FAQ states that everyone who joins must be at least 18, and that UK and Australia members complete age assurance (live selfie or mobile confirmation) because of legal requirements including the Online Safety Act.

Which one should you choose?

Choose Feeld if your interests are broad, if you are part of a couple exploring together across ENM and kink, or if you are still working out what you want and prefer a mainstream-feeling app while you do. Start on the free tier; only buy Majestic if you actually need Incognito, Desire filters or to see who liked you.

Choose BDSM Addicts if BDSM is the point rather than a possibility. It is free to join, searching and browsing cost nothing, and every member you meet has already chosen a site with the lifestyle in its name, which tells you something before the first message is sent. Take VIP only if you want unrestricted messaging and photo sharing.

Plenty of people use both. Feeld for the exploratory, couple and ENM side; a dedicated BDSM site for partners who already know the dynamic. That is a reasonable split, not a failure of either product.
